ABOUT

Hello! ChipTone is a free tool for generating sound effects, mainly for games but they could be used for anything you like. I'm currently working to flesh out the sampler and the sequencer. This tool was originally made in Flash, but, uh, yeah, that didn't work out. So now it's in HTML5 instead! And Windows and Mac downloadable versions too.

I hope you find this tool useful, and if you make anything cool using it, I'd love to see!

Amplitude's reset bar doesn't appear, even when I drag around the amplitude screen.

I keep coming back here for stylized SFX and prototypes <3

why does it have a block bech file???

I love this! I wanted to add something like this to my Visual Novel Engine. But you seem to have it taken care of!  ^.^

This is amazing! Very useful!

This is like a modernized version of BFXR. Great work on this, SFBGames! I'll be using this tool for a 2D platformer I'm working on in Godot 4.6.

amazing presentation and functionality, I love it

Searched for an sfxr download for the new PC, got recommended this. Absolutely amazing and a worthy successor to sfxr, no notes.

This is very useful. You did a good job on this one!

Very neat!

I have developed a SaaS tool for community building, which can help you build your own brand fan/user communication community. Are you interested in trying it?

Nice production App!  Thanks for making this available!  Any plans by chance for a Linux App in addition to the Windows and MacOS Apps?

I use this all the time to make sounds for my game! :) Thanks for making such a useful tool. Hope to see some more cool updates in the future!

It may appear that way, but I wouldn't call it abandoned quite yet. Sometimes people can take a few years to update something in an application. Give or take five to six years especially if they're the only developer of the tool. Considering the last update was from 2022, might be a while. Things that might seem like simple updates might actually be harder to work on than what one may think.
